wasteland Vortex  

The Wasteland Vortex gang is an association of bikers. They are predominantly young people aged 16−30. They are anarchists and do not recognise any laws. The most important thing for them is freedom and their bike. They are not after success in life, career etc. Often children from not very well-off families, orphans etc. get into this gang. Gang members deny the generally accepted norms of society, they do not want to live by any rules but their own. You could say that’s why they even live outside the city. The city seems to hold them back, constraining them, and they want absolute freedom. Of course, in order to survive they have to do something to earn their living. Some are involved in transportation, some in petty banditry, some even try to take on bigger jobs, but only a few manage to do so. They either live in the Slum area or outside the city. But that’s not to say they don’t show up in town. On the contrary. For bikers it is a pure pleasure to ride through the night streets of NEO illuminated with bright neon lights. Often at night gawkers even gather in the city to watch the bikers in action. Sometimes they are matched up in a race (anyone can join the races, but to beat a biker from the Wasteland Vortex gang would require a lot of hard work) and sometimes they just race through the night for fun. Thrilling races, rowdy parties and rock ‘n’ roll are all part of the Wasteland Vortex anarchist biker faction. This faction can be quite militant. They won’t get into trouble themselves, but if someone tries to infringe on their freedom, they’ll be ready to fight to defend it. Guns, knives, brass knuckles will be used immediately. Of course they don’t have access to any of the more sophisticated weapons, so they’re armed with whatever they can get on the black market.
